Gauge (Tension)
20 sts and 26 rows = 4ins(10cms) over stocking stitch with size 7(4.5mm) needles. If you obtain more sts per 4ins(10cms) than specified, use larger needles, if less use smaller needles.

Back
With size 3(3.25mm) needles and Dark Grey, cast on 86(92:96:102:106:110) sts and work 1 row k1,p1 rib.
Change to Camel and cont rib until 1.5ins(4cms), inc 8sts evenly across last row 94(100:104:110:114:118) sts
Change to size 7(4.5mm) needles and with rs facing work from main graph, rows 1-16. The patt rep for these rows is sts 1-12 (ignore sts 13-28). Rs rows work graph from right to left, ws rows work graph from left to right.

Rows 17-34:
Size 32ins (81cms): Work sts 24-28, (rep sts 1-28 3 times), work sts 1-5
Size 34ins (86cms): Work sts 21-28, (rep sts 1-28 3 times), work sts 1-8
Size 36ins (91cms): Work sts 19-28, (rep sts 1-28 3 times), work sts 1-10
Size 38ins (96cms): Work sts 16-28, (rep sts 1-28 3 times), work sts 1-13
Size 40ins (101cms): Work st 28, (rep sts 1-28 4 times), work st 1
Size 42ins (106cms): Work sts 26-28, (rep sts 1-28 4 times), work sts 1-3
Cont in main colour, placing armhole marker at 11(12:12:12.5:13:13) ins (28(30:30:32:33:33) cms)
When back meas 12.5(13.5:14.5:15.5:16:16) ins (32(34:37:38:40:41)cms) from beg, fin with ws row, work star graph as foll:
k 37(40:42:45:47:49) sts, work the 21 sts of graph, k rem 36(39:41:44:46:48) sts.
Cont in main colour until work meas 19.5(20.5:21:21.5:22.5:23) ins (50(52:54:55:57:58)cms) from beg Bind off(cast off) 32(34:35:38:39:40) sts at beg of next 2 rows. Place rem 30(32:34:34:36:38) sts on holder for back neck.

Front
Work as back, but without the upper star motif, until work meas 15.5(16.5:17:17.5:18.5:19) ins (40(42:44:45:47:48)cms) from beg, fin ws row.
Front neck shaping: k 39(41:43:46:47:49) sts. Slip next 16(18:18:18:20:20) sts onto a holder for centre front neck, k rem 39(41:43:46:47:49) sts.
Cont on right side, dec 1 st at neck edge on every row until 32(34:35:38:39:40) sts rem. Cont until front meas 19.5(20.5:21:21.5:22.5:23) ins (50(52:54:55:57:58) cms) from beg. Bind off(cast off).
Work left side to match right side, rev shaping.

Sleeves
With size 3(3.25mm) needles and Dark Grey, cast on 38(38:40:40:40:42) sts and work band as for back for 2 ins(5cms) rib, inc 4 sts evenly across last row 42(42:44:44:44:46) sts.
Change to size 7(4.5mm) needles and work rows 1-14 of main graph, then cont in main colour, inc 1 st throughout at each end of every foll 4(4:4:4:4:3) rows until there are 86(88:92:94:98:102) sts. Cont on these sts until sleeve meas 17.5(17.5:18:18:18.5:18.5)ins (45(45:46:46:47:47)cms). Bind off(cast off) loosely.

Turtle Neck
Join left shoulder seam.
With size 3(3.25mm) needles and rs facing using main colour, pick up and k 30(32:34:34:36:38) sts from back neck holder, 20(22:23:24:24:24) sts around left front neck, 16(18:18:18:20:20) sts from front neck holder, 20(22:23:24:24:24) sts around right front neck. 86(94:98:100:104:106) sts in all. Work 5 ins (13cms) in k1,p1 rib. Bind off(cast off) loosely in rib.

Finishing
Join right shoulder seam and turtle neck seam, rev seam for about the top half of the collar. Sew sleeve tops to armholes, centring sleeves on shoulder seams. Join side and sleeve seams. Press garment lightly on ws.
