Weaving with Tekapo

Ashford Tekapo Yarn really is such a lovely range with which to weave. The beautiful landscape colours produce stunning results. The following scarves have been photographed still on the Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom.

Millennial Bug

Woven by Kazue on an Ashford Table Loom in Tekapo Navy Blue and Sand.

Use two contrasting colours and the bugs will come alive. When choosing a loom it is hard to know whether to choose 4 or 8 shafts. With the Ashford Table Loom you can choose 4 now and another 4 shaft add-on kit later. For this fabric we used the 8 shaft loom on a loom stand with 4 treadles - using the four treadles and the four levers for this eight shaft pattern.
